That lingered in my head turned into a challenge. Volt has evolved for a long time. It was a fun and difficult task. I wanted to find an expression with rich form and decorative detailing that works in our strict time without too much historicism. The functioning of the object is in itself nostalgic: a candlelit chandelier, which answers to our need of festivity rather than light. What is new is the proportions, the simplified detailing and functional adjustments, like the wire for easy hanging and height adjustment, the chandeliers low height to better fit in rooms with low ceiling heights etc. www.byarumsbruk.se
